Our Team

FIP Therapists and Support Providers are provisionally or fully registered psychologists who are part of the Griffith University psychology community.

 

Some of our staff are students completing their Master's or PhD degrees at Griffith University, others are Fully registered psychologists who work closely with the entire team to provide guidance and supervision.

Professor Melanie Zimmer-Gembeck, Director

     Melanie is a Professor in the School of Applied Psychology at Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus. www.melaniezimmergembeck.com.au

Tanya Hawes

     Tanya is a generally registered psychologist, an accredited clinical supervisor, and is the Coordinator of FIP.  She works with families across all available programs.

Melissa Wotton

     Melissa is a generally registered psychologist.  She works with families across all available programs.  She is currently in the Master's of Professional Psychology Program at Griffith University.

Rachel Blundell

     Rachael is a provisionally registered psychologist. She works with families in PCIT and COS, and is training in other programs. She is completing her Master's degree in clinical psychology at Griffith University.

Megan Meredith-Wicks

     Megan is a provisionally registered psychologist. She is currently working with families in PCIT and PC-CARE. She is completing her Master's degree in clinical psychology at Griffith University.

Kayleigh Murnane

     Kayleigh is a provisionally registered psychologist. She is currently in training for PCIT. She is completing her Master's degree in clinical psychology at Griffith University.

Rachmania (Nia) Wardhani

     Nia is a provisionally registered psychologist. She is currently working with families in PCIT and training in other programs. She is completing her PhD degree in clinical psychology at Griffith University.

Maria Renic

     Maria is a provisionally registered psychologist. She is currently working with families in PCIT and training in other programs. She is completing her Master's degree in clinical psychology at Griffith University.

George Firman

    George completed an honours in psychology at Griffith University. He is currently training to work with families in PCIT.

Dr. Victoria Hambour

     Victoria is a generally registered psychologist. She assists with referrals and research. She completed her PhD at Griffith University in 20214

 

Dr. Kathy Ryan

     Kathy is a research fellow and lecturer at Griffith University. She is conducting research on parenting in an unsteady world. She also assists with referrals. She completed her PhD at Griffith University in 2021.
